* Officials found a double-bottom launch on a beach in Costa Rica; it was loaded with 320 kilos of cocaine. The Ecuadoran crewman alleged he was just a fisherman and that he had run out of fuel.

* Two “fishing boats” with four Hondurans and one Colombian were intercepted in the Caribbean; they carried 400 kilos of heroin and 2.2 metric tons of cocaine.
